Once you select the model you want to build, we'll arrange a series of meetings to guide you through the home buying process. The construction sequence chart (below) shows how we'll collaborate with you during the exciting months ahead.
You'll be given a tentative timeline of your building process at your first
Pre-Construction Meeting. The amount of time each stage takes to build your home will depend on the model you choose to build, the amount of customization, lot conditions, the availablility of labor and materials, and the weather. As your home nears completion, a more accurate timeline will be presented.
Rest assured, your Personal Builder will be right by your side to answer any questions or deal with any issues you may have. We greatly look forward to partnering with you during this fun and exciting time.

YOUR HOME BUILDING EXPERIENCE: |
Pre-Construction Meeting: You are introduced to your Personal Builder, who will be your "point man" during the entire building process. You review the construction process and discuss any custom features you'd like for your home. |
Selection Process: At this time, you will finalize design selections and we will pre-order all major materials, such as carpet, lumber. and stone. |
Foundation: During this stage, the foundation forms are poured, underground plumbing, cables and rebar are installed. |
Exterior finishes: This stage includes the complete wooden framing of your home and installation of thermal windows. |
Mechanicals: At this stage mechanical aspects such as wiring, heating/cooling and plumbing are completed. |
Electrical Walk-Thru: Prior to drywall installation, your Personal Builder allows you to inspect the inner workings of your home, discuss outlet, cable and phone locations, verify optional features you have selected, and ask questions. |
Insulation and Air Sealing: Gaps are sealed and insulation is added to keep outside air outside and the inside temperature to your liking. HIgh level (r13 rating) wall insulation installed to drastically reduce monthly energy bills. HIgh level (R-30 rating) insulation is blown in the attic. |
Interior Finishes: Drywall and garage doors installed. Your walls and ceilings are filled in and texture applied if necessary; interior doors and trim are installed along with shelving, cabinets, countertops, faucets, light fixtures, mirrors, and flooring. |

If any problems are found, they are repaired before entering the next stage. Once any repairs are made all remaining construction materials are removed, and the home is cleaned and made ready for the closing |
New Home Orientation: When your home is finished, your personal builder will take you on a room-by-room tour for you to evaluate your home. At this time, he or she will also demonstrate the quality features and operating procedures for mechanical systems and appliances as well as explain our service procedures.

Warranty Period: This stage extends a year after closing. During this time, the home is covered under a warranty that covers such things as foundation work, home structure, etc. |
